Is Kengan Ashura a good adaptation?

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the adaptation, it deserves a 2d animation medium for sure but don't let that distract you that the anime direction, sound, choreography and overall feel of the show felt like it was a memorable use of my time. The Kengan Ashura anime is the most disappointing thing I've seen all year.
