278. The Shounen Jump app says it was released on J. The next chapter is expected on Aug.
Is the manga for MHA finished?
On Ma, Weekly Shonen J announced that the manga was entering the “
final act” of the series. My Hero Academia Chapter 306 was titled “The Final Act Begins (Shūshō Kaimaku)”.
Is Gran Torino dead?
Grand Torino seems to recognize that fact, as a panel of the manga reveals that
he is still alive, and among the fighters that Deku saves. Like so many other deep cuts of mythos in My Hero Academia, it's a full-circle turn that is rewarding to hardcore fans, and we're glad Gran Torino is still around to see it!
Is my hero manga ending?
As for
the manga yes it is ending. However the story isn't over. My hero academia is just a part of a bigger story so this part of the story is complete. The next manga will continue to be about Izuku Midoriya but will not be focusing on his time in school anymore.
